About Monica

Monica L. Ventura, MS CCC-SLP/FSL, is a bilingual, Florida licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA). She is the founder and President of Speech Solutions, Corp, providing children with individualized speech-language intervention since 2002. With over 17 years of experience in pediatrics, Monica’s expertise is in Socio-Communicative Disorders/Delays and Applied Behavior Analysis, utilizing behavioral strategies to facilitate the acquisition of language skills.  She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 1993 and a Masters of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 1998. She then furthered her education with training in PROMPT, PECS, Fast Forward, the Listening Program and is Hanen certified.

Through Speech Solutions, Monica offers customized speech-language intervention in a nurturing environment, both onsite and at local schools. She also caters to a large international community, who come to see her periodically for extended periods of time. Her unique and effective approach includes creating individual home programs that clients can implement from home in their respective countries. She schedules regular Skype meetings to measure progress and recommend additional strategies. She is passionate about working with an interdisciplinary team to provide optimal results for each one of her clients.
